General Rental Information

 

 

 

Important Documents

 

 

The renter and the driver must present a valid identity card or passport when the vehicle is handed over, a driving licence required to operate the vehicle and valid for use within Germany, issued by an EU/EEA state (including Switzerland), as well as a payment method accepted by Supreme Car Hub that is valid for at least 30 days after vehicle return.

 

The valid driving licence must be proven by presenting the original driving licence.

Photocopies and digital documents are not accepted.

 

Foreign national driving licences that are not written in German, that were not issued in another EU/EEA state or Switzerland, or that do not comply with Annex 6 of the Convention on Road Traffic of 8 November 1968 must be accompanied by a translation, unless the Federal Republic of Germany has waived the requirement to carry a translation. The translation must be issued by an internationally recognised automobile club of the issuing country or by an authority designated by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport.

 

If the issuing country provides an International Driving Permit, presentation of the International Driving Permit together with the original driving licence is sufficient instead of a translation.

Supreme Car Hub supports Chinese customers with the necessary translations via the Supreme Car Hub WeChat account or via the following link.

This or any other valid translation of the driving licence will only be accepted together with the original driving licence.

 

Driving licences from non-EU/EEA states are accepted if

a) no visa is entered in the renter’s/driver’s passport, or

b) the renter/driver has a visa in the passport and, at the time of rental, has not been residing in an EU/EEA state for more than 6 months.

 

If the renter/driver has been residing in an EU/EEA state for longer than 6 months, a driving licence from an EU/EEA state must be presented.

 

Exception: Driving licences from Ukraine are accepted regardless of the date of entry due to the current situation (protection status until 03/2027).

Age Requirements

 

 

Certain regulations apply regarding minimum age and driving licence possession depending on the vehicle and can be found in the booking process.

In principle, the minimum age for each driver is 18 years (driving licence held for at least 1 day). Deviations from the minimum age are possible depending on the vehicle.

 

GELY, WFLY, JELY, JELP: No rental to new/first-time renters (minimum 5 previous rentals, at least 2 of which from category L***).

 

For drivers under 23 years of age, an additional fee (young driver surcharge) applies.

 

 

 

 

Rate Information

 

 

 

General

 

 

Supreme Car Hub accepts credit and debit cards as well as digital wallets from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, as well as credit cards from China UnionPay.

PayPal is available at selected stations for prepaid bookings.

 

To secure the rental, a credit or debit card must be presented at pick-up. The renter must be the holder of the PayPal account.

Prepaid cards cannot be accepted as a means of payment.

 

Supreme Car Hub accepts Maestro/V PAY cards only for rentals of vans and trucks as well as for vehicles up to group F*** (excluding Special Cars and Sports & Luxury Cars).

For long-term rentals, payment with a Maestro/V PAY card is not permitted.

 

The payment method must be issued in the name of the renter, presented at vehicle pick-up and be valid for at least 30 days at that time.

Supreme Car Hub reserves the right to accept credit card payments only in conjunction with the PIN.

 

For corporate customers with whom Supreme Car Hub has concluded a framework agreement, Supreme Car Hub also accepts virtual payment methods such as AirPlus and Amex BTA/iBTA, subject to a valid framework agreement, a declaration of cost coverage and a reservation under the corresponding customer number.

 

Supreme Car Hub CarExpress (Advantage Circle) cards are only accepted in combination with a valid payment method.

Cash payments are not accepted.

 

As security, the payment method will be charged with a deposit. The amount of the deposit depends on the vehicle group.

Prepaid Rate – Lowest Price

 

 

When booking a prepaid rate, the payment method will be charged immediately with the expected rental price including booked extras and fees (gross).

Driver and payment details are fixed at the time of reservation and cannot be changed.

No refund will be granted in the event of no-show, late vehicle pick-up or early return.

 

Subject to availability, changes to the booking are possible up to a maximum of 1 hour before the pick-up time stated in the current reservation, for a rebooking fee of EUR 29.99.

No refund of the rental price already paid or any price difference will be made.

Rebooking from a prepaid rate to “Pay at Pick-up” is not possible.

 

Cancellation is possible before the pick-up time. In the event of cancellation, the prepaid amount will be refunded minus a retention fee of EUR 99.00.

If the prepaid amount is less than EUR 99.00, it will be retained in full and no refund will be issued.

 

Cancellations or changes made within 24 hours of booking are free of charge, provided the scheduled pick-up time is more than 48 hours in the future.

 

If the booked vehicle is not collected at the agreed time, the rental price shown in the current booking confirmation must be paid in full. The reservation remains binding until the agreed return time.

 

 

 

 

Liability Conditions

 

 

 

Third-Party Liability Insurance

 

 

Coverage for the rented vehicle includes third-party liability insurance with a maximum coverage of EUR 100 million for personal injury and property damage.

The maximum coverage per injured person is EUR 12 million and is limited to Europe.

 

 

Collision Damage Waiver (including Theft Protection)

 

 

By concluding a collision damage waiver (including theft protection), liability for accident damage or loss of the vehicle can be reduced to a predefined excess.

Further reduction of the excess is possible.

In cases of intentional or grossly negligent damage or breach of contractual obligations, the entitlement to the collision damage waiver may be reduced or void.

 

If no collision damage waiver is agreed, the renter is responsible for all damage to the rental vehicle that is not demonstrably caused by a third party and is liable up to the full vehicle value plus additional compensable damages (e.g. loss of value, expert fees).

 

 

Interior Protection

 

 

By booking interior protection, liability for soiling or damage to the vehicle interior can be reduced or eliminated.

 

 

Personal Accident Insurance / Travel Personal Accident Insurance

 

 

By booking personal accident insurance or travel personal accident insurance, coverage can be extended to include personal consequences of an accident.

 

 

Complementary Protection Plus

 

 

When booking Complementary Protection Plus, Supreme Car Hub waives the assertion of claims for damage to the rental vehicle against the renter up to an amount of EUR 500 per damage event and for damage exceeding EUR 30,000 per damage event, unless caused intentionally by the renter or driver.

 

 

Tyre and Glass Protection

 

 

Tyre and glass protection covers damage to tyres as well as the windscreen, side windows and rear window with an excess of EUR 0.00.

If no tyre and glass protection is agreed, the renter is liable up to the full amount of the damage.

 

 

 

 

Mobility Service

 

 

The mobility service is an extended breakdown service during the rental period and protects against high service and repair costs for self-inflicted incidents.

All services must be requested exclusively via the Supreme Car Hub 24-hour Roadside Assistance.

 

 

 

 

Travel Abroad and Entry Restrictions

 

 

 

Entry Restrictions

 

 

Vehicle selection may restrict entry into certain countries. Countries are divided into four zones.

 

Zone I: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Vatican City

Zone II: Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia

Zone III: Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania

Zone IV: All countries not listed in Zones I–III

 

Entry into Zone IV countries is not permitted.

Leaving the European continent is not permitted, including the Spanish exclaves Ceuta & Melilla.

 

For authorised trips abroad, Supreme Car Hub charges the contractually agreed foreign travel fee.

Unauthorised foreign use results in a contractual penalty of EUR 150.00.

Product Information 

Supreme Car Hub+

 

 

One month corresponds to a period of 30 days.

Minimum term: 30 days, 6 months or 12 months.

Automatic extension by a further 30 days in each case.

 

Termination is possible at any time by returning the vehicle to a Supreme Car Hub station.

Termination by Supreme Car Hub is possible no earlier than 3 months after contract commencement.

 

 

Vehicle Exchange

 

 

Supreme Car Hub vehicles have limited holding periods and mileage.

A service fee of EUR 500.00 applies for late return at a scheduled exchange.

 

 

Foreign Travel

 

 

Monthly surcharge of EUR 9.99.

Unauthorised use abroad: contractual penalty of EUR 150.00.
